Beggar's Night, as they call it in Des Moines, was tonight. Unfortunately, the weather is cool and rainy so we hit close neighbor's homes and headed back to our house. The girls enjoyed handing sweets out to other kids more than collecting the treats themselves. Ellis opened the door to the kids yelling "Happy Halloween!" When they left she either said "thank you" to them for taking candy or a simple "good luck". Leighton stood in the door and waved good bye.
