Realizing this special birthday treatment is pretty cool.

Well hello pancakes, whipped cream & maple syrup!

Darren & I both took the day off work to take Ellis to her preschool fieldtrip
to Blank Park Zoo and to celebrate Leighton's birthday. It was a glorious day!

So cute & they love it.

Leighton was so busy playing with the puzzle and cake, she wasn't really interested
in opening any more gifts. Gotta love a 2-year-old!

Leighton's favorite book-of-the-moment is Knuffle Bunny.

and a wooden puppet theater. Much like Ellis' Barbie Doll clothes,
this might have been more for me than Leighton!
