My good friend Debbie's little girl Addison and Ellis are now the best of friends. The came over a couple of weeks ago and the girls immediately changed into their princess dresses, tiarras and lots of jewelry. So perfectly adorable! They were very happy to be photographed hugging as well.

One of Leighton's 1 yr. photographs. There are more to come, just waiting for the editing to be done. Will post very soon!

Mischievious face and crazy hair!
Trying to determine if this was a forest that contained dangerous animals, a witch and maybe other scary things like bugs

Leighty loves swinging!

and is very busy exploring and checking everything out

Our big girl, Ellis--she's getting so tall and such long legs. I can't believe how much she's grown this year. She's also wearing her leotard again today--her 5th outfit since she woke up.

I hope this is no indication of the future...

Wheeeee!

You were meant to be seeing great photos of our day spent at the July 4th parade and carnival but it was 74 degrees, cool and rainy all day. So instead of BBQ'ing and having fun on rides and catching sweets from the parade, we spent the day at home and running errands. This is the first 4th of July in my entire life that was like this. What a bummer!
Anyway, hope everyone had a great 4th!

Like Mommy, like daughter? I'm told all the time Ellis and I are a lot alike. I thought this photo was funny because we both have the same exact look on our faces.

LJ hanging out on the deck with Papa (she spends a lot of time on top of tables, just like Ellis did and just as Darren did as a kid!)

Both girls love playing on Papa's golf cart, too
