Leighton Joy is now 9 months old! No longer the tiny little preemie, she's gaining on Ellis. At 8 mos, she was 22 lbs and Ellis was 28 lbs. She is trying really hard to crawl about and keep up with her big sister who is always on the go. She's not officially crawling, but she can scoot herself all over the place. She gets into position on all fours and we think she's going to take off, but doesn't. She's busy pulling herself up to stand wherever she can as well. She's much more inquisitive than Ellis was at her age (ie getting into everything!). Leight and Ellis have officially started to fight over toys and food as well. She's cut her first two bottom teeth and we suspect that more are on the way. With a head full of blonde curls and the most laid back, happy demeanor, she's such a fun baby.
