After we took Darren's Mam Jean to O'Hare Airport to head back to Ireland, we spent a few days in Chicago seeing good friends and taking the kids to a few Chicago spots like the Field Museum of Natural History...

In January, we were very blessed to have had a visit from Darren's Mam Jean. She came to stay with us for 2 weeks. This may sound like a decent amount of time, but it's never enough and it flies by way to fast. While she was here, my dear friend/photographer, Debbie Arringdale, took some photos of the family.
Yep, we're still alive and kicking! However, my blogging took a backseat with life obligations taking the front seat. Making a committment moving forward to update the blog at least once a month (I guess this means I'll have to break away from Facebook for a few minutes each month...oy boy!). In the meantime, I'm going to update the blog by month to cover the last 6 month hiatus.

OK, Dina's parents got her a musical card for her Birthday this year, and Ellis has really taken to it. I think that we need to get her a CD player for her room !!!!
