This was Leighton's very first cupcake and just like all other food, she LOVED it!

Wonderful quality time spent with our kiddos! We rarely left the house for nearly

2 wks with the exception of a trip to Target here and there just to get some fresh air.

Ellis comfy in her blanket watching her portable DVD player. Darren was brilliant and hooked her up with wireless headphones. Not that we don't love Dora the Explorer, but we can do without hearing the same show 200 times. Ellis was actually sick for part of the holiday with a virus and ran a fever for almost 5 days. Our poor little girl!

Happy New Year to all our Friends and Family! We had a nice Christmas this year. We spent Christmas Eve at home together and drove to my parent's house on Christmas Day. Ellis understood the concept of Christmas and Santa which was a lot of fun and we had our Leighton to add to the family this year. It was one of our more quiet Christmases, however, with the sadness of Stella leading up to the holiday and the girls and I had been sick right before as well. It's never quite the same without our Irish family either. We missed our family in Ireland a ton and wish we could have seen them over the holidays. This is the time of year when the distance is really frustrating. We are planning a trip to see them in March or April.

Hello World!

I'm 8 months now and ready to take off at any moment. I have

a big sister to keep up with so I'm trying really hard to get moving.
Sitting pretty! It's so hard to believe Ellis will be 3 years

in just 3 months. Where does the time go? Notice the dog is

wearing a diaper--she can diaper anything like a pro.
The new family bus--a Chevy Uplander. I don't think it's been this clean since with the winter weather here. I never thought I'd like being a van owner and said I would never sell out and get one but now that we have it we LOVE it! We're aiming to make van owning chic and hip!

Family naps are the best! Darren stayed home with the girls a couple of weeks ago when our daycare was closed. He sent me this photo while I was at work. Talk about heart warming!
